  • Amazing experience at Kurdistan! The food is authentic and full of flavor, but what really stands out is the staff — incredibly friendly and welcoming. The manager is always present, organized, and clearly cares about customer satisfaction. You can feel the attention to detail in everything. Highly recommended!

  • Tried lamb shank with rice, soup, salad. Overall good food and good staff. Have tried it once in the pas as well and enjoyed. Taste is still good. You can park in any nearby street or main springbank road after 6:30 for free. Just a tip.

  • Kurdistan Restaurant is situated on a road with plenty of restaurants and takeaways. Good news is plenty of street parking available after 6.30. Like most of the places offering food on this street, the food is better than the outside appearance. Most items come with meat or lentil soup and a nan for free. I personally dislike lentils, but this soup was very very tasty. No complaints whatsoever. The Kurdistan Special Mix Kebab platter was very flavorful, this comes with Jalik, fries and a salad as well as a coke. All the skewers were as good as each other so difficult to pick a favorite skewer. The BBQ ribs comes with fries. This was good but I am not sure if BBQ is an apt description. Teshreeb, this is a slow cooked lamb in a special sauce. The meat was superb and falling of the bone. Taste wise, this isn't my cup of tea. Although other people in my group did enjoy it. The staff are very friendly and the place does get crowded at times. Nans are very cheap, although it is not the type of nan you would get in an Indian restaurant. They are tasty. As always this was my experience and YMMV.

  • Kurdistan – A Great Meal with a Few Small Hiccups Today, around 15 of us went to Kurdistan for a meal, and overall, the experience was fantastic. I ordered the Chicken Tikka plenty of food, well-cooked, and very reasonable in price. The garlic sauce was a great addition, and the chilli sauce mixed well too, though I personally prefer mine a little sweeter. Grandma went for the Lamb Kebab, which was packed with flavor and thoroughly enjoyable. The naan breads served with the meal were soft and appeared fresh, complementing everything perfectly. Areas for Improvement One issue we encountered was being served a jug of what appeared to be milk/yogurt, which we hadn't ordered. It was placed on the table automatically, and later, we noticed a £3 charge for it. This seemed to be an oversight in communication, as every table received one without asking. Another small issue was that we weren’t given bread to dip into our soup. Also, for some reason, a salad plate was provided, despite salad already being included on our meals, which felt unnecessary. Despite these minor hiccups, I’d definitely recommend this place!
